Mary was born and raised in Kenya where I was educated through A-levels. She completed her BSc in Psychology at Birmingham University. She returned to Kenya to work for AMREF (African Medical and Research Foundation), on a project for the World Summit on Sustainable Development which took place in Johannesburg in 2002.
She was the operations manager for Kikoy.com for a year before co-founding Archive Solutions, Kenya’s first Professional Records Management Company, which she set up with her two partners in 2004. She is currently managing her family residential properties in Nairobi.
Outside of work she plays the oboe and cello in the Nairobi Orchestra and is a member of A New Dawn Trust – a Kenyan based charity organisation which raises money for education in Kenya. She enjoys running and has taken part in the Lewa and Nairobi Marathons as well as the Mombasa Triathalon.
