Kenyan Rhino Chargers in Zambian Elephant Charge 2010
| 13 October 2010
Last week I made a spontaneous decision to take part in the Zambian Elephant Charge as part of a Kenyan Rhino Chargers team and we are a mix of Kenyans and Scandinavians. We are taking part in the event to help raise funds for The Lusaka National Park, South Luangwa Conservation Society, Conservation Lower Zambezi and The Kafue Trust.
The Elephant Charge is an annual off-road motorsport challenge held in the Zambian bush and the Elephant Charge was set up in 2008 to raise money for conservation causes and wildlife education in Zambia.
It is a unique and exciting team event for cars and motorbikes that requires stamina combined with excellent driving and navigation skills.
The event will be held on Independence Weekend 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2010
The team includes:
Helle Sejer-Hansen - Car 17
Peter Bonde Nielsen - Car 64
Sean Mathews - Car 64
Richard Muneeni - Car 64
James Singh - Car 51
Christian Nerdrum
The event is to raise funds and please contact me on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you would like to sponsor our team. The Elephant Charge do not have an official online donation site yet as they are not yet registered so please contact one of us direct if you'd like to help us raise funds.
